BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–A person suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting that occurred in Birmingham early Tuesday morning, according to reporting from Isaac Goffin of CBS 42.
According to Sgt. LaQuitta Wade with the Birmingham Police Department, the victim was shot around 1:30 a.m. in the 10 block of 80th Street South.
A private vehicle took the victim to Birmingham Fire Station No. 12. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service personnel then transported the victim to UAB Hospital.
There is currently no one in custody in connection to the shooting.
