JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala.–A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle closed all lanes of Interstate 22 Friday morning, according to Senior Trooper Vu Quang of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:58 a.m. on the Highway 78 exit in Adamsville.
According to the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency, the road was closed while they righted the truck due to the contents of the truck posing a possible danger to traffic in the area.
By 9 a.m., the truck had been up-righted and no longer posed a threat to the road area, according to Incident Command.
