CENTER POINT, Ala.–The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in Monday’s shooting in Center Point as 27-year-old Joshua James Allums.
Allums, who was from Fairfield, was shot in the 200 block of Polly Reed Road late Monday night.
He was transported to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead early Tuesday morning.
The Jefferson County Sheriff is investigating the case.
As of Friday morning, there have been no arrests or charges filed in the case.
