TRUSSVILLE-The Hewitt Husky wrestling team began the 2025 season with three meets in seven days.
The Huskies, 6-4, traveled to Allen, Texas, to compete in the Texas Outlaw meet against 36 other schools on January 3rd and 4th, turning in a 17th place finish.

Rivers Harbinson placed fifth, 106 pounds
Gavin Bittle placed 6th, 113 pounds
Riley Hulwi placed 9th, 126 pounds
Jaxon Jones placed 7th, 165 pounds
JV wrestlers competed at the Mountain Brook Invitational on January 4th.

Leo Nelson placed 2nd, 152 pounds
Archer Warren placed 2nd, 159 poinds
Gabriel Turner placed 2nd, 159 pounds
Parker Krayer placed 4th, 167 pounds

The Huskies fell to Thompson at the home dual meet yesterday, 38-25.
