ARGO, Ala.–The Argo Police Department announced Friday morning that all roads within the town have been deemed “impassable” and are closed to travel due to slick conditions caused by last night’s snow storm.
The department also reported that multiple vehicles are stuck on Blackjack Road and urged residents to avoid traveling in the area.
The city has also opened its storm shelter to be used as a warming station during the inclement weather.
The shelter is located at 100 Blackjack Road behind City Hall.
