BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–ALDOT and its contracted partner James Paving Company are planning to conduct asphalt paving repair operations along I-65 over the next week and a half.
The operation will begin on Monday, July 7 and is expected to be completed by Friday, July 18.
The work will be done on the northbound and southbound lanes of I-65 between Homewood and Gardendale on a nightly basis.
Lane closure will begin at 8 p.m. and end by 5 a.m. the following morning. No more than two lanes will be closed at a time.
ALDOT is requesting motorists to consider using alternate routes and to observe work zone speed limits during the operation.
