TRUSSVILLE – For the third consecutive year, the Trussville Tribune sports guys will be hosting football media days. This year’s show will be held back in the Tribune studio on Main Street in Trussville and will be spread over two days with four teams highlighted each evening.
The dates for this year’s media days are Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11 with the show kicking off at 6:00 each evening and wrapping up around 8:30.
Just like in the past, John and Johnny will sit down with the head coach, one assistant coach, and at least two players from each of the eight teams in our coverage area to discuss the upcoming football season.
In Tribuneland, we have two defending state champions in Clay-Chalkville and Moody as well as Leeds and Hewitt-Trussville who were playoff teams last year. We also have a Shades Valley team who is sure to be much improved under second-year coach George Bates. In addition, we will welcome four new coaches to Tribuneland this year in Kyle Tatum (Moody), Grady Griffin (Center Point), Logan Colafrancesco (Pinson), and Jeff Lumpkin (Springville).

6:50-7:20 – Moody Blue Devils
