ODENVILLE, Ala. — The Alabama Department of Transportation recently launched a resurfacing project on US-411 in Odenville.
The approximately 8.8 mile project runs from Maddox Farm Road to US-231/US-411 roundabout.
The section carries between 3,000 and 4,000 vehicles daily, according to ALDOT.
Milling work is scheduled to begin this week. Motorists should expect traffic to be dropped to one lane during the operation.
Traffic will be managed by flaggers at each end of the work zone. Lane closures are not expected to exceed two miles.
ALDOT said the contractor is expected to finish the project by the end of 2026.
Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays as work is underway.
