MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. — Vino will be celebrating its 15th anniversary by hosting its annual Pooches on the Patio event Wednesday, Aug. 19, with proceeds going toward the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the restaurant’s location at 1930 Cahaba Road in English Village. Guests are invited to support GBHS by dining on the patio with their dogs.
“It is with overwhelming joy and gratitude that we celebrate Vino’s 15th anniversary,” owner Al Rabiee said. “We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with the community that brought us to where we are today and by giving back to an organization that is near and dear to our hearts.”
The event is sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and will feature specialty cocktails, giveaway prizes and activities. Featured drinks are $8 and include the Muttarita, a cocktail made with Tito’s, orange liqueur, lime, and agave; and the Cranberry American Mutt, made with Tito’s, ginger beer, lime juice, and cranberry juice.
The Greater Birmingham Humane Society will be there with dogs available for adoption.
Attendees can enter to win prizes that include a $100 Vino gift card and Tito’s merch. Guests will also have a chance to receive a complimentary goody bag with Vino’s apple fritters and brownies.
The regular dinner menu will be available at Vino’s during the event. In the event of rain, the covered patio will be available.
