TRUSSVILLE, Ala. — Trussville City Schools has announced that it will implement a new communication platform for families and students to get updates from the district.
And that platform is ParentSquare, said an online announcement on Tuesday, adding that it will bring messages from district and school leaders, teachers, coaches, athletics, and student organizations “in one convenient place.”
Families will be able to receive updates, reminders, announcements, and emergency notifications by text, email, phone, or on the ParentSquare app. It will also have two-way messaging and automatic translation.
Staff will be trained on how to use the platform and more information about activating an account will be announced in the future, said the announcement.
