ODENVILLE, Ala. — Officials gathered at a new McDonald’s location in Odenville where they cut the ribbon to welcome the business to the city on Aug. 5.
“This celebration brought together a tremendous crowd of community leaders, business professionals, employees, family members, and friends to recognize this exciting investment in Odenville,” said a press release for the event.
According to the press release owner Ashley Minor’s family has been involved with the franchise ever since she was eight.
Officials at the ribbon cutting included: Odenville Mayor Buck Christian, Mayor Pro-Tem Jimmy Bailey, council members Don Smith, Tammy Crow, and Elaine Mize; leadership from the Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce, including President Megan Graham, 1st Vice-President Dona Bonnett, Treasurer Todd Seay, Secretary Bob Powell, and Board Member Ambere Ginn, as well as Jason Roberts with the St. Clair County Economic Development Council, local business leaders, community partners, and others.
“The ribbon cutting was more than the opening of a new restaurant—it was a celebration of partnership, investment, and the continued growth of Odenville,” said the press release. “We are grateful to everyone who played a part in bringing this project to our community and look forward to the positive impact it will have for years to come.”
The restaurant officially opened on August 6 at 10:30 a.m.
