TRUSSVILLE, Ala. — The City of Trussville is giving residents one last chance to swim at the Trussville Pool before closing permanently.
The “Last Splash Bash” event will run from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, and is open to anyone.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring chairs, towels, their swimsuits, and spend the afternoon swimming and sharing memories of the pool with friends.
The cost of admission was described as “one memory of your time at the pool.”
The event will end with one last group plunge into the pool at 4:45 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the City of Trussville and Tandi Smith.
