MOODY, Ala. — On Sept. 13 the 7th Annual Fallen Heroes Ride will be held in Moody to support the Moody Police Foundation.
The annual event also honors officers Keith Turner and Lt. Stephen Williams, both of whom were killed in past shootings while on the line of duty.
“This is more than a ride,” said a message on social media from the City of Moody. “It’s a day of remembrance, gratitude, community, and honoring those who gave everything in service to others.”
The cost to ride is $25 per bike/vehicle and $10 for passengers. The ride will leave Moody Civic Center and take participants through neighborhoods patrolled by Moody police officers.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. followed by prayer and safety briefing and then kickstands up at 2:30 p.m.
