MOODY, Ala. — A woman was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision in Moody Monday morning.
The accident took place around 10:30 a.m. on U.S. 411 near Lake Joyce Road.
According to Moody Police Chief Reece Smith, 39-year-old Mary Salah, of Odenville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children riding in the vehicle were taken to the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
The driver of the second vehicle was also hospitalized. Smith said their injuries appeared to be minor.
No additional information about the individuals’ identities or the cause of the crash has yet to be disclosed.
