BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Birmingham Police Department has arrested two men tied to a robbery that took place Sunday in southwest Birmingham.
19-year-old Kemarius Goodwin and 18-year-old Edward Sparks, both of Birmingham, have each been charged with first-degree robbery.
The robbery took place on Aug. 16 on the 1700 block of Pearson Avenue. According to BPD, the victim was not injured.
Shortly after the robbery, officers took Goodwin and Sparks into custody near 18th Street and Lee Avenue Southwest without incident.
Both men were transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where they will be held without bond.
