BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The countdown is on. In just 5 weeks, UAB Medicine GT World Alabama benefiting Teal Wings of Hope will return to Barber Motorsports Park for three days of world-class sports car racing, family entertainment and charitable impact, September 25-27, 2026.
The annual event showcases SRO Motorsports America’s premier racing series, featuring GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, GT America powered by AWS, Toyota GR Cup North America, Pirelli GT4 America and TC America powered by Skip Barber. Fans will experience thrilling on-track action from some of the world’s most recognizable manufacturers, including Acura, Aston Martin, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, Toyota and more.

Beyond the racing, fans can enjoy free garage access, autograph sessions, the popular Sunday Grid Walk, the Piggly Wiggly Fan Zone, Kids Zone, food trucks, vendors, merchandise and the Birmingham Car Festival presented by Corsa Crew. Children 15 and under receive free admission with a ticketed adult.
Race weekend also includes A Night of a Thousand Wings Benefit Dinner & Live Auction on Friday, September 25, at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. Following a cocktail reception, guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening celebrating hope, community, and philanthropy while raising critical funds to advance ovarian cancer awareness, early detection research, treatment innovation, and patient care through Teal Wings of Hope.

A portion of every ticket sold benefits Teal Wings of Hope, a Birmingham-based organization dedicated to raising awareness, advancing research and supporting care for ovarian and gynecologic cancers through its partnership with UAB’s Gynecology/Oncology program.
