LEEDS, Ala. — Six businesses were recognized as the winners of the 2026 Small Business Awards by the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce during a monthly luncheon sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama on Thursday.
A press release stated that the award celebrates “excellence” in leadership, customer service, innovation, community involvement, and support of the chamber.
The winners in three categories are:
- Emerging Business (in business less than 5 years) Dreamcatcher Flower Shop & Gifts
- Small Business (1–10 Employees) Casey Parsons Team – Guild Mortgage
- Small Business (11–50 Employees) Earthborn Studios, Inc.
Additionally, the chamber recognized several finalists: Emerging Business – MD Marketing & Design; Small Business (1–10 Employees) – EXIT Legacy Realty; and Small Business (11–50 Employees) – Guardian Systems, Inc.
“The awards celebrate the businesses that help strengthen the local economy and contribute to the quality of life throughout the Leeds area,” said Steve Karr, Chamber Board President. “We are fortunate to have a business community filled with entrepreneurs and business leaders who invest in our city every day. Congratulations to all our finalists and winners for this well-deserved recognition.”
The winners were submitted for consideration in the 2026 Alabama Chambers Small Business Awards, which is presented in partnership with Alabama Chambers and the Business Council of Alabama. The state finalists will be recognized later this year, said the press release.
