MOODY, Ala. — The City of Moody has shared renderings of a new playground at the city park that is planned to be constructed in the next few months.
An announcement from the city on social media said the playground will be inclusive to “children of all abilities” and will include Mommy & Me play features along with shade awnings.
“The City is incredibly excited to bring this project to our community,” said the announcement. “We know how important places like this are for our families, and we’re proud to provide a space where kids can play, parents can connect, and families can spend time together.”
Construction is expected to begin in late fall to early winter. The City of Moody collaborated with Hammill Recreation, LLC and Play & Park Structures for the project.
