CLAY COUNTY, Ala. — Two individuals, one a 13-year old from Villa Rica, Georgia, were killed in an ATV accident Sunday evening in Clay County.
According to an ALEA report, 34-year-old Brock J. Roark, of Delta, was driving a 2025 Can-Am Outlander 850 when the ATV left the road, struck a tree, and overturned around 5:30 p.m.
Roark was ejected from the ATV and pronounced dead at the scene on Aug. 30.
The 13-year-old passenger was also thrown from the Can-Am and taken to a nearby hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
The crash happened on Good Hope Delta Road near Crutchfield Drive, around 7 miles southwest of Delta.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating.
