TRUSSVILLE, Ala. — Republican Women of the Trussville Area will meet on Thursday, Sept. 3 where a survivor of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks will be the guest speaker.
The speaker, Mike Randolph, was in the South Tower in New York City when the second plane hit. Sept. 11, 2026 will mark 25 years since the attacks.
Additionally, Republican Women will present a check in honor of Randolph to Veterans Village in Birmingham that houses local veterans.
The meeting will be held at Trussville Civic Center on 5381 Trussville Clay Road. A meet and greet will begin at 5:30 followed by the meeting at 6 p.m.
