BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Birmingham Police Department is searching for two missing female residents and is asking for the public’s help in locating them.

13-year-old Layla Robinson is a runaway who was last seen on Aug. 18. She is described as a black female standing at 4’6” and weighing approximately 90 pounds. She has brown eyes and turquoise hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and light blue jeans.
According to the BPD Robinson her last known location is the 3100 block of 42nd Avenue North in Birmingham.
The BPD is also searching for an unrelated person who has not been in communication with family since February 2026. Amanda Lee Williams, 40, is a white female standing at

5’1” and weighing approximately 148 pounds. She has green eyes and brown hair.
Her last known location is 1st Avenue North in Birmingham.
Anyone with information on their locations is asked to contact the Birmingham Police Department at 205-328-9311.
UPDATE: An update from the BPD reported that Robinson has been found safe.
