BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A Birmingham woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle that fled the scene Sunday night.
54-year-old Paretha Deshun Marshall was struck around 10:17 p.m. Aug. 30 at Graymont Avenue West and 2nd Street West in Birmingham.
Marshall was taken to UAB Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:45 p.m.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating.
