Vera Stol Milton (July 3, 1928 — August 13, 2026)
Mrs. Vera Stol Milton, age 98 of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. Vera was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, and was a witness to the events of World War II. She met her husband, Arthur Doyal Milton in Vienna while he was serving in the U.S. Army. They married on March 31, 1955. After Arthur retired from the Army, they settled in Pensacola, Florida, where Vera worked for the Florida school system. After her retirement, Vera and Arthur camped across the U.S. with their faithful schnauzer. Vera enjoyed bowling, and was a big 49’ers football fan.
Vera is survived by her husband, Arthur; their two sons, Rickey Milton (Terri) and John Milton (Rebecca); their grandchildren, Daniel Milton (Kati), Gary Milton, Bryan Milton; four greatgrandchildren.
