LEEDS — Holiday shopping season will be here before we know it and shoppers will have several new gift buying options at The Shops of Grand River in Leeds. One has just opened its doors.
“The Shops of Grand River is primed to welcome shoppers to a host of new clothing and decor retailers this fall,” the Outlet announced in a recent statement. “Globally renowned British footwear brand Clarks will kick off the season’s openings on Friday, Sept. 25. New locations from Southern Marsh, Ornament Nook, and Robo Shop by Pop Mart are scheduled to follow. Located in Suite 322 across from Polo Ralph Lauren, this new Clarks store follows the brand’s recent 200-year anniversary celebrations, which marked two centuries of innovation, craftsmanship, and a longstanding commitment to making comfort and style accessible to all.”
According to Diane Poole of the Leeds Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon cutting for Clarks took place as scheduled last Friday.
“Clarks is a fresh fit that blends seamlessly with what’s on offer here at The Shops,” said General Manager Jeannie Cole. “They’re leading off our new fall brands with a bang, while Southern Marsh, Ornament Nook, and Robo Shop by Pop Mart offer something everyone can look forward to all season long.”
Just in time for Christmas, the Ornament Nookwill be the next tenant to open, with a grand opening in Suite 618 across from Skechers scheduled for Oct. 1.
Popular clothing brand Southern Marsh will occupy Suite 610 across from Tommy Hilfiger, and Robo Shop by Pop Mart will take up residence under the property’s central atrium; both will arrive later this fall. Specific opening dates has been set.
