TRUSSVILLE, Ala. — Finalists have been named and voting is now open for the 2026 Tribune Readers’ Choice Awards, the largest and most visible celebration of local businesses in the Tribune’s nine-city coverage area.
“These awards belong to the people who live and work here,” said Scott Buttram, publisher of The Trussville Tribune. “In some categories, there were almost 100 different businesses nominated. Every finalist should be very proud to be on this list.”
Readers may vote from Wednesday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 29.
The awards honor local restaurants, shops, professionals and services in Trussville, Clay, Pinson, Argo, Center Point, Springville, Leeds, Moody and Irondale. Finalists in each category were chosen from nominations submitted Aug. 20 through Sept. 21. The top names on that ballot now go to readers for a final vote.
Last year, more than 600,000 votes were cast in the nomination and finals phases. The contest remains the most prestigious local-business recognition in the coverage area and delivers unmatched exposure for the shops and professionals readers choose.
A valid email address is required. Readers may submit one ballot per day per device. Every category is optional. Vote only in the categories you know.
Winners will be announced later this fall at the Trussville Entertainment District and the public is invited to attend the event. Winners will also be published in The Trussville Tribune.
