FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —It was a record-setting day for Hewitt-Trussville Cross Country at the Chili Pepper Festival in Arkansas.
The Huskies turned in impressive team finishes against large fields.
The boys placed 10th out of 137 teams, and the girls finished 14th out of 108.
Hewitt also saw both of its school’s 5K records fall.
Noah Jordan finished 15th overall with a school-record time of 15:09.
Mary Durham turned in a 13th with a school-record 17:42.
Both performances currently rank as the second-fastest 5K times in Alabama across all classifications.
