BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham City Schools will temporaily suspend its meal services to students beginning on Monday over safety concerns due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The school district announced on Saturday that its BCSEats Expanded Meal Service program will halt its meal distribution service to students throughout the city on Monday, April 6, 2020. The district added that families and students can still visit the follow locations on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to receive a free meal.
Service will end after 1 p.m.
