From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department posted its shoplifting review featuring 10 arrests from April 20 – May 11, 2020.
Those 10 people accused of traveling to Trussville to shoplift are: Dakota Dunnaway, Jennifer Palmer, Andrew Sams, all of Pinson; Jerry Lynn Keily, Sarah Dykes, all of Birmingham; Johnny Holden, Christin Holden, all of Center Point; Justin Wiggins, of Monroeville; Matthew Walker, of Remlap; Jarod Mood, of Trafford.
The police department warns anyone coming into Trussville to steal could end up on social media.
“All arrest and arrest photos posted on (our Facebook page) are public information. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty,” the department posted on its Facebook page.
The severity of a shoplifting charge depends on the value of the property involved. Alabama has four statutes governing theft of property offenses, and only one of the four is treated as a misdemeanor.
