Our precious mother, Judith “Judy” Fowler Stubbs, passed away on Friday, November 19th, 2021. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Judy Stubbs was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on August 19th, 1946, to Mittie and John Fowler. Judy was mother to Carolyn (Matt) Davidson, Chris (Sarah) Stubbs, and Ray (Amy) Stubbs. She raised her children with love and devotion alongside her husband (58 years), Bert Stubbs.
She was most proud of her grandchildren, Daniel Stubbs, Chandler Stubbs, Logan Stubbs, Katie Davidson, Jacob Triplett, John Paul Davidson, Isabella Davidson, and Lucas Davidson.
Aside from the children and grandchildren she doted on, Judy Stubbs is survived by her brother, John (Alice) Fowler, brother-in-law Paul (Jewel) Stubbs, nephews David (Haley) Fowler and John (Lydia Ann) Fowler, followed by numerous cousins and other much-loved family members.
The funeral for Judy Stubbs will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Visitation will gather one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tom Lewis will preside over the service. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home’s adjoining cemetery.
