TRUSSVILLE — Winn-Dixie officially unveiled the newly remodeled Trussville Winn-Dixie store to the local community on Wednesday, July 20, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store, located at 465 Main Street.
Mayor Buddy Choat, several members of the city council, HTHS Principal Tim Salem, and HTMS Principal Jennifer Abney were in attendance, Salem and Abney were presented with a $1,000 total donation from the Winn-Dixie team.
The refreshed store now offers an improved produce department with organic varieties, an enhanced self-serve hot bar for easy lunches and dinners, expanded seafood and bakery departments and additional offerings, and new self-checkout lanes, all at the right price.
To celebrate the new and improved store with the local community, Winn-Dixie will host a weekend community celebration with live music from Alabama-native band, Lisa and the E-Lusion, hourly raffles, and a chance to win large giveaways of a Blackstone grill or an adventure package containing a YETI cooler and axe throwing tickets with a Blackstone grill and a Winn-Dixie gift card on Saturday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Trussville store is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The in-store pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
