ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, August 21, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound for Concrete Joint Sealing & Asphalt paving operations between Milepost 157 (near Springville Exit 157) and Milepost 148 (near Argo Exit 148).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, August 22.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, August 21, through Friday, August 26.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
