JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim found in the house fire on Thursday, August 18, at approximately 12:21 p.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Tammie Aldridge Wright, 48, of Docena, was found after firefighters extinguished a house fire in Docena.

“The Minor Heights Fire and Rescue Department responded to a report of a house fire in the 300 block of 6th Street in the Docena Community,” Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates stated.
Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause and origin of the fire is being investigated by the Alabama State Fire Marshall’s Office, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
