TRUSSVILLE & CLAY — The SSG Michael W. Hosey American Legion Post 205, Clay-Trussville, has announced the launch of its new website on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Website goers will notice a user-friendly atmosphere and find all the information they need to get involved locally in serving veterans. Veteran suicide rates continue to rise, which adds an additional reason to the mix to be online and accessible to the public. The Post has a new Veterans Service Officer, Jimmy Fitzgerald, who stands ready to assist any veterans in obtaining the benefits they have earned.
Trussville and Clay’s only American Legion post continues to lead the way in connecting and serving veterans.
Veterans and their family members will notice that they can sign up to join, get benefit questions answered, and see past events and upcoming events, just to name a few. Anyone who served in the military and had an honorable discharge is eligible to join the Legion.
