BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man has died after an argument ended in gunfire on Thursday, July 13.
While in route, the call was updated to shots fired and then updated to a person shot call.
Officers arrived on the scene and found the victim, Nicholas Marquis Johnson, 33, of Birmingham unresponsive in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.
Responding officers tried to aid to Johnson until Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and then transported the victim to UAB Hospital with life-threatening-injuries.
UAB Hospital Staff pronounced the victim deceased at 9:48 p.m.
Investigators determined there was an argument in the parking lot, shots were fired, and the victim was struck by gunfire.
There is no one in custody.
