BIRMINGHAM — A man was found murdered in his home at the 1900 block of Princeton Avenue in Birmingham, according to Lt. Pete Wiliston from the Birmingham Police Department. No suspects have been brought into custody yet.
The victim is described as a black male in his 40s who was discovered by a friend at 11:55 a.m. this morning. His friend was trying to reach him by cell phone when he decided to check on him at the resident. When he was discovered, the friend called authorities.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue were called and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of all his family members.
