TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Schools have released a new mobile app with the goal of improving school-to-parent communication.
The Trussville City School’s mobile app is now fully ready for both the Android and iPhone platforms said board members after an August 20 regular meeting.
Administration is encouraging all parents, students, and Trussville City School’s staff to download the application as it will act as a key component of the system’s mass notification system.
During an event such as a power outage or a disruption of land line phone system, this app will allow the school system to continue communications and send notifications straight users phone via cellular service.
The app includes parent and student resources such as notifications, PayPams, Athletics, bus routes, news, grades, Google Classroom and much more.
