CHICAGO, Ill. — The parent company of Pillsbury has announced a limited, voluntary recall on two lot codes of Pillsbury Unbleached All-Purpose 5 lb. Flour.
The UPC item code 51500-22241 (lots 8-292 and 8-293) could be contaminated with salmonella. According to a press release from Hometown Food Company, roughly 12,245 cases distributed nationwide could be impacted.
Salmonella can cause diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain and sometimes vomiting. There have been no reports of illness associated with this recall.
