TRUSSVILLE — Huskies baseball has a big week but started things off right with an 11-1 victory over Southside-Gadsden on Monday night. Jacob Bishop belted a two-run home run. Tyler Mauldin had three hits and Julian Sauger had two doubles. Creed Parker got the win on the mound and Riley Quick registered the save.
Hewitt-Trussville will take on Southside-Gadsden again on Wednesday before hosting Sparkman on Thursday and Pelham on Friday.
The Huskies will be heading down to Gulf Shores over spring break to participate in a tournament.
The Huskies are currently 14-4 overall.
