FALKVILLE, Ala. — An Illinois man was killed on June 8, 2019, in a three-vehicle crash in north Alabama.
Jonathan G. Hopkins, 52, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck that hit a 2012 Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep then struck a Lifeguard Ambulance. The driver of the Jeep, James Andrew Terrell, 38, of Huntsville, was taken to Huntsville Hospital. Hopkins was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the ambulance did not have a patient and no one in the ambulance was hurt.
The crash happened at 6:40 a.m. on Interstate 65, four miles east of Falkville.
