JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a theft suspect after an incident on Grants Mill Road.
On July 8, a Suzuki GSX R600 motorcycle was sold, and the owner was paid with a cashier’s check from Union State Bank. It was later determined that the
check was forged. The transaction occurred at a convenience store on Grants Mill Road.
Surveillance video shows the suspect arriving in a service type truck, with faded lettering, and then the suspect entered the store. He was wearing a baseball cap, jeans and a gray colored tshirt.

All suspects are assumed innocent until proven guilty.
