Mikal Ashley Thompson
Mikal Ashley Thompson was a force that could turn anyone’s day from black to bright.
He was a dedicated friend who would stop at nothing to keep us happy. He was also a proud and irreplaceable big brother, a loving uncle, and son. He was a fixture in the Birmingham music community which he was a part of for a very long time. He played hard and loved even harder. He had an infectious smile that would make its home in every fond memory. He went out of his way to make people understand just how much he thought about them. His love and his light reached further that his arms could ever reach and that was his mission. Everything he had and that he was he shared with the plethora of people he knew and even with those he had only just begun to know.
He is survived by his parents George and Arlene Thompson; sister, Libby Adkins and brother-in-law, Will Adkins; nieces and nephews, Lyllah, Chloe` and Asheton Adkins; Grandmother Clemmie Faye Thompson,
and their extended family. He was also survived a number of friends too large to put on paper. He will be missed by many and loved by all. Rest easy sweet boy the chains are gone.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, Oct 29, at 11am at The Healing Place Church. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
