Hewitt-Trussville receiver commits to Auburn University

TRUSSVILLE –Hewitt-Trussville wide receiver Ja’Varrius Johnson has committed to the Auburn Tigers. He received his offer after attending camp on the plains.
Johnson, a senior, played for St. Clair County High School last season, but transferred to Trussville during the second semester.
“Extremely blessed to say I have receive an offer from Auburn University, and I want to thank coach Gus Malzahn for the opportunity to be an Auburn Tiger!” Johnson said via social media. “100% committed to Auburn University, War Eagle”
