TRUSSVILLE- Huskies head football coach Josh Floyd will host youth Elite Passing Academy camp from June 25-27 at Hewitt-Trussville High School.
Kids from fourth through ninth grade will be able to attend the camp designed for offensive players to showcase their talents and learn from one of the most prolific and successful offensive coaches in high school football.
Coach Floyd has had over 40 student-athletes that have gone onto play at the collegiate level, with several of them going to Division 1 schools.
Floyd has seen his last three quarterbacks at Hewitt-Trussville all sign to play at division 1 schools. Zac Thomas signed to Appalachian State, Connor Adair signed to the University of Memphis, and his current quarterback Paul Tyson has signed with the University of Alabama.
“The camp is designed to give athletes the opportunity to work with coaches who have expertise in each offensive position,” Floyd said.
The quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends will be able to learn the fundamentals with basic drills and techniques that will benefit them on the field.
Coach Floyd will also include film sessions for the kids to gain knowledge of what goes into offensive game plans and also teach them to breakdown plays.
The camp runs from June 25-27 from 9 a.m-11:30 a.m.
