From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE, AL – The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club was a major sponsor in the 7th Annual Boiling ‘n Bragging, a Rotary District 6860 event benefiting critical care transport at Children’s of Alabama. The event has raised almost $1M for the cause since its inception.
Participants come to the event in their favorite team attire and enjoy music, a low country boil, and hamburgers and hotdogs. Team tents are lined up in the parking lot at Otey’s Tavern for food, fun, and fellowship, all to benefit a good cause.
The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club was a major sponsor of the event by providing funds, promotion, and volunteers. Special thanks to Rotarian Randy Jinks and Charter Spectrum who played a major role in the promotion of the event.
The Club meets at the Trussville Civic Center located at 5381 Trussville-Clay Road in Trussville at 7 a.m. on Wednesday mornings.
