ARGO — The city of Argo will be hosting a Community Christmas Party at 100 Blackjack Road in Argo on Dec. 7, starting at 5:30 p.m.
All are welcome to attend, but it is requested that participants bring a dish. Participants are also encouraged to wear an ugly sweater as part of the festivities.
“The party is for the whole community,” Argo Mayor Betty Bradley said. “We’re hoping everybody will come out. We’re doing it to celebrate our community and to celebrate the season.”
Due to weather issues, Argo has rescheduled its Christmas Parade. The event, which was originally set to take place on Dec. 8, will now be happening on Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. It will start by the drive-in and end near the old city hall. Lineup for the event will start at 8:30 a.m. and everybody should be in line by 9:30 a.m.
