Trussville teens bring home the gold

Trussville’s Aspen Seeds and Meagan Zeitvogel represented Alabama in the U. S Youth Games, held July 25 through 27 at George Ward Park.

The girls competed against other 13-year-old girls’ tennis teams that came from as far away as South Carolina.

After dominating the courts in both singles and doubles matches, winning a whopping 63 games over the two day tournament, Seeds and Zeitvogel were awarded the Gold Medal for the 2012 U.S. Youth Games 13-year-old girls tennis.
