Submitted by Paine Intermediate staff
Paine Intermediate is focused on raising up leaders. Each month in counseling lessons, students are learning about a different leadership principle from the book, The Seven Habits of Happy Kids , by Sean Covey. As these principles of leadership are taught, students are asked to apply them to their daily lives. In addition to the school’s Student of the Month award for good citizenship, Paine also awards a Leadership Award to one student in each class each month who demonstrates leadership. Students may be nominated by their classroom teachers, peers, or other teachers and administrators at Paine Intermediate
