Trussville Civic Center Membership Coordinator Suzy Hammons was named the February winner of the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Customer Service Award.
Hammons’ nominator said this:
“I visited the Trussville Civic Center to inquire about room reservations. The person who normally answers the questions was at lunch, so I was directed to Suzy’s office. Suzy provided the best customer service I have received in years
. She told me that she did not have all the answers — but, in fact, she did. Not only did she answer my questions, she also offered suggestions to make my event memorable. She was warm, personable, polite, professional and friendly, and she truly seemed happy to help me. She was a breath of fresh air. In a world where customer service seems to have gone out the window, Suzy reminded me that there are still people in the world who care about others. She truly deserves this award.”
