An Alabama- and Auburn-themed clothing and gifts store is coming to Clay.
House Divided recently applied for a business license to locate in Clay, said Mayor Charles Webster.
Webster said he believes the business will locate in the shopping center by Publix on Old Springville Road. He wasn’t sure of an opening date but said it could be in the next few weeks.
Aspen Dental will be opening an office on U.S. Highway 11 in Trussville next Thursday. The dental office is located in the new shopping area that includes Dunkin’ Donuts, South and Taziki’s Cafe. Taziki’s is expected to open later this month.
In other business news, the city of Trussville was recently named the 10th-best of the 50 largest cities for business in the state of Alabama by the Alabama Policy Institute
. Trussville was named the second-best city for business in Jefferson County, trailing only Center Point, which finished ninth statewide.
