A car crashed into the CVS on Main Street in Trussville today at about 11 a.m.
An elderly woman’s vehicle ran into the side of the CVS building, knocking down a whole section of Mascara onto a customer.
Trussville Police Chief Don Sivley said the driver was leaving the store but was in drive instead of reverse when she hit the gas pedal.
A rack was knocked onto a customer, Sivley said.
Sivley said the driver and customer were both transported to area hospitals — the driver by ambulance, the customer by private vehicle
. There were no serious injuries, Sivley said.
